Health insurance isn't one-size-fits-all.

I take the time to understand your situation, look through your options on both the public and private market, and help you land on a plan that lines up with your needs and your budget.

Understanding your needs

Before I show you a single plan, I learn how you use healthcare, which doctors matter to you and what you can comfortably spend. Then I search both the public marketplace and the private market for the right match.

Here when you need me

You get a dedicated point of contact for as long as you have your plan. Questions, claims, customer service headaches: you call me, and I help you sort it out.

ProtectedFrom the bills nobody plans for

Catastrophic protection

Medical bills are one of the leading causes of bankruptcy in America. The main job of health insurance is to protect you financially when the unexpected happens, whether that's an accident, emergency surgery or a diagnosis nobody saw coming. The right coverage keeps a bad day from turning into a lifetime of debt.

1099Coverage without an employer

Coverage for the self-employed

Outside of an employer plan, there are two ways to get full health coverage: the public marketplace and the private market. As a licensed advisor I can show you both, including private plans you won't find on the marketplace. Many of the small business owners I work with benefit from tax-deductible private plans with lower rates and stronger benefits.

Public vs. Private

Two places to buy coverage. I'll check both.

Most people only know about one of these. Seeing them next to each other is usually where the savings show up.

Public

The Marketplace

Plans sold through Healthcare.gov or your state's exchange.

  • Income-based subsidies can lower the premium
  • Enrollment mostly limited to open enrollment or a qualifying life event
  • Networks are often narrower and local
  • Best fit for some incomes and situations

Private

The Private Market

Plans you can't get on the marketplace, offered directly by carriers.

  • Often lower rates for people who qualify
  • Many plans can start any time of year
  • Wider PPO networks are common
  • Can be a strong fit for the self-employed and business owners

Eligibility, availability and pricing depend on your state, age, health and income. I'll walk you through which side makes more sense for you.
